of Entertainments
In the continued absence of a club on site, we have again
organized a program of entertainments in conjunction with
Beachside Club nearby for the whitsun week, and the main summer

Whitsun
week at Beachside Club
Saturday 24th May: Live Caribbean music in the style
of Bob Marley with Derek Sandy. Tickets available £5
including barbecue. Please book at time of booking holiday as
this is the first night and tickets limited.
Monday
26th May: Karaoke at Beachside club. Transport
available to and from the club, although it is a 10 minute
walk on the beach if you prefer.
Wednesday
28th May: Curry night. Price approx £7 includes
transport, choice of curries and a free drink.
Children's meals available if ordered in advance. Bookings by
Monday night.
Friday
30th May:
Surf and Turf £7.50 per head.

From 21st July to 25th August, live singer
plus karaoke at Beachside
Club. Transport available, please book in advance.

At Beachside, curry night as on Wed 28th May.

Football:
For the under 16's. Meet on the football pitch
at 10.30 every Monday from 28th July to 25th August.
Crazy
golf
and Putting competition all

putting green 10.30 every Tuesday from 29th July to 26th
August.
Tennis
fun competition:
Aged 8 and over. Meet at the tennis court
10.30 every Wednesday from 30th July to 27th August.
Pets
corner for young children:
Come and meet the animals on
the green near the office every Thursday from 31st July to
28th August.

Swimming
pool tickets for the West
Wight Sports Centre are available "free"
from the office to holiday guests booked through the letting
service, or private guests for whom the entertainment package
has been purchased.
Individual tickets can also be purchased by bungalow owners at
the discount price of £2.30 from the office, which is a good
saving from the £3.50 normal price for adults.

Linstone
Chine is no ordinary holiday location.
The cliff-top estate, overlooking
the sea at the western end of the Isle of Wight, enjoys extensive views of the Solent and English Channel from the
Needles to the Dorset and Hampshire coasts. Many yacht races start
directly in view from the site. |

The
village is split into two areas:
Brambles Chine is a self catering site on a mainly level area close to the
beach, next to a playing field with sports and children's play
equipment;
Cliff End is a sloping self catering site
with stunning views of the Solent and coast, and adjoining the Fort Victoria Country Park.
The whole estate is just a few minutes' walk from the safe bathing beach of Colwell
Bay, with all the seaside facilities you would expect.
Alum bay, Blackgang Chine, Robbin Hill you must visit with children of
all ages, while the adults can walk the Tennyson way to Carisbrooke
Castle in quiet peace, even in the peak holiday season. |

Isle of Wight is known as the "Garden-Isle"
Because it has
it's own mild micro-climate that extends the flowering season, and allows you to find sunshine
very often when the
mainland is overcast or raining. |

Linstone Chine is an ideal seaside summer holiday venue for families with
children:
While in earlier and later months
it also forms an excellent base for walkers and cyclists to explore the Island, in small or large groups.
Hang gliders, surfers, bicycle, motorcycle and car rallies flock to the
island, in the early and late season. It is also a regular base for University students on
organized field trips for fossil hunting or geology, as a Site of
Special Scientific Interest on part of the "Dinosaur Coast".. |

restaurants within easy walking distance, right on the sea front. On-site
coin-operated
launderette, a general store, sports equipment to hire, crazy golf and

both with any problems on site and in making the most of your holiday.
