This statement has
been prepared to help people with disabilities and physical
impairment to assess whether these premises will be accessible
to them.
The bungalow

71 Cliff End is a
self-catering two-bedroomed bungalow situated 7 metres
from a vegetated cliff edge overlooking the Solent Channel
and Hurst Castle. Car-parking is on a tarred area 80
metres from the property and access is along a paved
pathway. Entrance to the bungalow is via a wide sliding
door over a 200 mm. (8 inches) step, without a ramp, into
an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. Access to the
bathroom/toilet and sleeping area is through a standard
doorway leading from the lounge.

The bungalow is
level and has a shower over the bath, with no special
facilities for those with disabilities.

There are several
large grassed areas on the site. Pedestrian access to the
local beach is by steep wooden steps.

The whole site is
well illuminated with night security lighting.

Visitors’ pets
are not allowed except for guide dogs.
